Here at Victory, we believe our “church” is our members.

In this section, you can  find out more about our various groups in which we serve. Within these groups, friendships are made and strengthened while the mission of the church is carried out.

Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to others. It begins in our own community, and is spreading overseas thanks to our missions. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries..

Music

God-honoring worship is something for which we strive. Many church members get involved in our music ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. Others are involved in the choir. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

Children

Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Victory Baptist realizes the importance of giving every child a foundation upon which they can grow and prosper. The Bible defines the best foundation to be Jesus and His teachings. When a child attends Victory Baptist, he or she will have opportunities to hear the good news about Jesus and to grow as a follower of Christ.  Children always receive love and have fun in their groups.

Nursery services, through age 2, are provided for Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services. Please visit the Welcome Center located in the main foyer where a friendly attendant will assist you in placing your child.

Student Ministry
The Student Ministry at Victory is always evolving. Its purpose is to help cultivate a student’s relationship with God, and with others. There are activities throughout the year and summer trips that include a missions week and church camp. Beyond all these activities is the desire for the student to have a real relationship with their Savior, and to share Him in their community and beyond.
The Student Ministry ranges from grades 7th through 12th. It also encompasses many of the school campuses here in the North Little Rock/Sherwood area. If you are interested in the Student Ministry at Victory, please contact our office.

Media & Technology

In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly PowerPoint slides for the sermons are individually made. We also have a team dedicated to running the sound system.

Worship
The atmosphere of worship is present throughout all we do at Victory Baptist Church. Worship services are open, friendly, and suitable for people of all ages and backgrounds, though an alternative worship experience is optionally provided for young children. Everyone is welcome to attend no matter what religious instruction they may have received in their life. Victory Baptist is convinced that God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit should be the One who receives all worship, and it is at these times that we unite in this effort together.

Sunday School
Our Sunday School time is necessary in furthering one’s development as a Christian. The Bible is taught, and students are encouraged to ask questions for their own understanding. Many lifelong friendships are born here. Classes are available for specific age groups but you are not required to be in that particular class. The majority of classes have their own social events outside of class time, and they support one another in times of celebration or difficulty. Here you will find prayer and ministry take place more personally, and you will get to know the church family most intimately.

The CALL Mall
The CALL is working toward having Christian families waiting to provide a home for every child in foster care in Arkansas.
We supply foster families with clothes and various items they are in need of. The CALL Mall is open each Friday and the first and third Saturdays of the month from 10 am – 12 pm.
